for mr erickson's birthday i picked him up from work and we made our way up to north wales. you guys. it was incredible. we spent the night and the next morning in the cutest b&b right by the water in llandudno.
next stop was conwy castle. the view was so so beautiful.
last stop of the day was bodnant garden. it was like wales own mini verasilles.
sunday was spent the day in snowdonia nation park. i know this is going to sound redundant, but it was so gorgeous. the most beautiful place i have seen.
we took a few wrong turns... like an hour in a circle- but we ended up taking the train to the summit of snowdon and hiked down. we got to sit at the front of the train and got quite the view.
apparently on a clear day you can see all the way to the lake district from the summit. but i'm guessing there might one, maybe two clear days... this is august.. and we couldn't see the cafe 200 feet away from the summit.
the rest of the photos are on the hike down from snowdon. we were not prepared for what we encountered... leggings and a hoodie isn't what i would suggest wearing. live in learn. but it was gorgeous and i would do it again in a second.
