i'm running a bit behind on the blogging front- but better late than never.
when mr erickson got home from his deployment we took a few weeks off to get reacquainted and tour italy! and oh my it was incredible... a bit hot- but i would do it again in a heartbeat! we sweat our booties off but ate our weight in gelato- even things out.
our first stop was milano. i was so sick the day we arrived and the heat certainly didn't help. but i got some gelato in me and i was good to go.
the duomo was so beautiful and being able to see milan from the top it was amazing.
what you can't see is the painting of the last supper that we were able to see up close. it was surreal and i was humbled to be there.
there was a brilliant street market not too far from our hotel and it was the beeeeest. i mean, the best tortellini of my life. gosh i would go back just for that.
