one.

[how we feel about it already being a year...]

People always say how hard the first year of marriage is... how you learn all these things you didn't know about your spouse and yourself. Maybe it's because we are really coming up on year seven of our relationship and we've already had the knock down-drag out fights that help build a foundation to stand on... but I can honestly say this has been the best year yet with my mister.
Moving to England wasn't the easiest, but it was certainly the best thing for us as a family, and we've had such amazing adventures. In the last year we have been to six countries, got to see NYC, DC, London, Paris, and Amsterdam- along with many more fun cities.
We learned our love languages and try everyday to show that love.
I think it's safe to safe eternity is going to be a good time with mr erickson.
Cheers year one. Bring on two.

Better late than never, right?
Our wedding day was completely perfect for us.  When we look back on this day, we both have nothing we would've done differently.  Our very favorite people in the world were there to celebrate with us.  And we were finally married and sealed for all eternity.

We started out the day at my uncle's house making breakfast for our family and wedding party, ever since high school J and I have made breakfast together. We didn't get married until later in the afternoon so it was a perfect, relaxing start.

We had a few minutes alone before going into the sealing room, Jared started crying the moment he saw me.  When I say he has the sweetest heart I'm not lying.  Walking into the sealing room was so surreal.  We were completely surrounded (standing room only) by our friends and family.  Jared cried through the whole thing and I was beaming.

"Welcome to the Air Force Mrs Erickson."

Out of the all couples that start out at the Academy, only 2% make it through to the end.

J and I wrote our own vows, had Cole and Clay held the rings and we had a small ring ceremony.

Mr Erickson wrote his vows on the first letter I ever wrote to him, we were 17.

and last but not least, our wedding video.
